Sunderland are underachieving.
Aye mate, tell me about it.
Take it from someone who is standing far off enough to see the wood for the trees - tt would be the worst thing Sunderland could do, to get rid of Steve Bruce. There seems to be the odd club or two who want to commit league suicide status, going around. Nott'm Forest got rid of Billy Davies, and have totally and utterly ballsed everything up since. I'm sure Cotterill is only there to get them out of trouble.

I do tend to agree with you but the man is tactically clueless tbh.

You looking for a fight today? You big up newcastle and put sunderland down,

Sunderland will find their feet eventually, they have a decent squad which hasn't been playing too badly.

I'm sure Adam meant it as banter & it was took as such, cheers lad.

Oi, Pineapple..! What was your honest opinion of Kenwyne Jones..? He split opinion here, because he was reported to have refused to play, near the end of days here. But I thought he was a bloody good player, and getting better.

Personally, I loved him but he was the laziest bastard I've ever seen on a football pitch.

That sums up most of our feelings I think.

Every season Sunderland sign too many players. I reckon they just need to go a couple of transfer windows without anyone coming or going, and they'll be a decent side. Plenty of quality players in that team.

Hasn't exactly set the world alight at Stoke either has he?

True. Strike rate of 1 in 4. In the league, according to Wiki, for you pepys he managed 26 in 94 and for Stoke he's currently on 10 for 40. Not brilliant. But he's a better player than Championship level. Unless he's playing in a CF role which means he can't make big conversion figures, he needs to pull his finger out, pronto.

Mate we never replaced Bent & we've not had a lb or lw for years now. And Bramble can't keep his hands off the lasses arses when he's out he is in bother again with the police & the fact we sold Anton has left us short of cb's.

So we have some work to do in January marra.

This is an old subject, but whatever happened with Gyan? Went to some Emirates club was it? Purely for money or what?

Gyan is on loan to an arab club that has 200 fans.

They are paying him £200,000 a week though.

He went for the money same as Bent.

Pfffft keep your hands off Kelv, Mignolet, Gordon and Westwood is enough.

I like Sunderland though - saw them play at the Emirates and was very impressed.

I have a mate who is a Sunderland fan and he was actually happy to hear about Bramble's suspension. Surely Sessegnon, Richardson, Larsson and Vaughan can all do a decent job on the left though? Might be lacking a bit in depth but you can surely put a pretty decent first team together:

Mignolet

O'Shea
Bardsley
Turner
Brown

Richardson
Larsson
Cattermole
Elmohamady

Sessegnon
Bendtner

Gardner, Vaughan, Wickham and Campbell all decent players as well. Looks alright to me. Massive shame about Gyan though.

Gyan is class but he let head get to big when he was linked to all them clubs in the summer.

No one with decent morals or love for the game would do what he did. He's clearly just in it for the money. That's what the U.A.E is all about - greed.

We have not got enough strength in depth. Turner is a liability atm & Cattermole always was.

Elmo is no where near premier class lads, very poor.

If we don't finish top ten despite our bad start I will be dissapointed.

We have been playing Larsson on the left even though he's a rw. Sess should be on the lw & Larsson on the rw.

Bentner & Wickham or Ji up front for me.

We won on Saturday but Bolton were ****ing woeful mind.

We have Villa at home on Saturday. Bent's first return. Wonder what reception the greedy bastard will get?
