It's also difficult availability. Who wants to join Newcastle? Potential relegation and even years off any type of competing. All the while in the limited January transfer window, they probably couldn't do any better. Not sure what Burnley are doing though.

Given their injury records, that's unlikely to be the case for too many more games this season. At least he would probably stay around if they get relegated.
I was thinking of their injuries; get Wood to do their donkey work and let Wilson / AMS to concentrate on attacking
