It was to Ben10. I guessed you were Scottish!! I moved up there when I was 12 and lived there for 15 years. Only been to Dundee a few times. Spent a few nights in Angels if its still there - a nightclub in an old church, and another nightclub that had a hamburger bar in it (thats all I remember).

Dundee now has a grand total of 1 nightclub. They've all closed down as the Student Union is massive, cheap as ****, open all hours and has its own nightclub, guest dj's and all sorts spread over about 4 floors. In addition they opened a 24 hour casino that closes its bar between 6am and 7am to allow cleaning :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Don't really have 1 mate, Irish background so I like Celtic. I like watching Scottish football though, have an interest in it
I'd love to see Arbroath win the Championship

I fell out of love with Aberdeen fairly quickly as it turned out a lot of their fans were utter twats back then. Have a soft spot for Inverness Caledonian Thistle as I knew their former chairman through rallying.

Hamburger bar club may have been DeJaVu - closed down a few years ago - I blame myself as I used to spend a fortune in there before settling down with the current wife :emoticon-0140-rofl::emoticon-0140-rofl::emoticon-0140-rofl:

Is Dundee worth a visit, like a weekend away type thing? Some people say it's mint

Depends what your looking for mate. If you like Golf its central for courses like St Andrews, Carnoustie and Gleneagles.
If you like arty ****ing farty poncy stuff they spent a ****ing fortune on the V&A Museum which only opened a couple of years ago.
If you want a night out - I wouldn't bother.
If you want football - I wouldn't bother.
If you want somewhere to base for drives or walks in the countryside then its canny
If you like fishing its canny

Usually her shopping and me boozing. Glasgow is ideal for it but she hates the place

How can it not be

1. Ashley

2. Bruce

3. And the players

all at fault.

Howe hasn’t had sufficient time yet to be judged.

I disagree.

Ashley - Was always a greedy opportunistic bastard that wanted maximum profit for little investment
Bruce - Took a dream job and a pay any of us would have done the same
Players - Nah they're just not good enough - You can't polish a turd unless its Brazilian and cost £40m

The real culprit that goes under the radar. But the one who I blame for all of this is Sir John Hall - For being a sneaky, 2 faced, opportunistic bastard and selling the club to Ashley behind Shepherds back in the first place. That ****er should be blamed first and foremost but always escaped the criticism.

Boozing is alright if you know where to go and you know the people in the bars. Trying to do pot luck and just choosing a boozer would be a gamble :emoticon-0140-rofl::emoticon-0140-rofl::emoticon-0140-rofl:

I heard it has been done up a lot. Back in the 80s it was a bit of a dive and rough as ****. I happily walked around any area of Glasgow but felt nervous in some areas of Dundee. Badly needed investment which I here it has had.

It has mate, but the City Planning officers are ****ing idiots. They spent hundreds of millions doing up the riverside area for the V&A. Rather than taking a leaf out of Newcastle/Gateshead they decided a ****ing beach was a canny idea - even though its not on the coast. They then put a big grassy area out the front then realised afterwards an arena may have been a canny idea so now concerts are held out doors on a small grass area. :emoticon-0140-rofl::emoticon-0140-rofl::emoticon-0140-rofl:

They've spent a fair bit on housing and all the old multi storey's have been flattened and new housing is popping up all over.

This

it’s like a Bolshevik hoe down over on Twitter with all the knee jerk comments about Howe. Embarrassing. He’s only been here 5 mins and he’s only had his first signing in the door for 48 hours ffs.

No. I said.

That's a cop out mate because if we're judging Howe and Bruce then the fairest way is to judge on what they've managed out of this squad.

Bruce finished 12th with this side and it wasn't good enough

The blame was being landed at Bruce's feet and the fans now want to blame the players.
