I’ll be honest, the Shrewsbury game made me massively question him. His substitution cost us the points there. Bringing on a DM for an attacking player, regardless of intention, gave the opposition a lift.

he didn’t do it to make a “defensive sub” as he did it to change formation and moved players on the pitch, but you could see it gave them a lift.

Fickle bunch us fans!!

I agree his subs that game were not in the end very good.

He's done well. I wanted him gone after the run of defeats but he found a way to win ugly then ease us back into form. He has to keep this up now, we can't afford any more blips or streaks

Let’s hope not, I don’t want to be wondering why we just missed out on automatic promotion by goal difference or a couple of points?

I agree mate.

It's fully deserved, imo, after the way he pulled things round from a truly horrendous period ...

... not only that, he managed it on the back of injuries to key players.

Our entire season could've fallen apart.

Could be that the injuries stopped him from over thinking the problems, who knows, our season certainly could have fallen apart your dead right, and LJ was not blameless imo. but the team has looked a lot better recently long may it continue.

I must admit, I wanted him gone gone, but it was the Portsmouth game for me. I still believe he costed us points that day, he should have went "route one". Horses for courses.....
But credit where its due, he's got it right since. Has he stumbled across it by accident? Don't care....he's got it right, and that's all that matters.
He's doing a great job now, and what sticks out for me, is the players definitely have his back.

Looks as if his philosophy is coming to the fore.

The issue with LJ is this is now probably the 3rd time it's been obvious he's not right for the job.

In the summer he got the benefit of the doubt. In November it was felt too soon (it wasn't).

Lighting has struck a third time and its only January of his first full season.

Sorry Lee. I like you more than most managers we have had in the last 10 years. But you are done.

can't see him going until the summer. But then I don't think ANYBODY saw this kind of result coming. I know we all say "the signs were there", and they were, but even then, 6-0 to Bolton is not a normal bad result. This will be changing a lot of opinions.
