Also known as the penny-stinkers or groundlings - those who could only afford the penny to get in and stand. Over to you.The poor people who couldn't afford the price of a seat at a Shakespearian play - and had to stand in the packed pit to watch?

No - definitely was. He's dead now - so no more fast bowling. Was? Not Yashasvi Jaiswal then?
That's him. A sad story really - a fast bowler for the Queensland State team back in the 30s, he was generally recognised as the fastest in Australia, especially when Don Bradman gave him that label after facing five balls and being bowled for a duck. One of the 'Stolen Generation' of Aboriginal children, he was removed from his family at the age of 3 and sent to live & work in an Aboriginal settlement north of Brisbane. Leaving such settlements for any reason or any length of time required written permission under the Protection of Aboriginals Act of 1897 - and Australia's somewhat racist policies of the day meant that he wasn't allowed inside a hotel - so he had to pack his own tent and pitch it on the practice ground wherever he was playing. Man's inhumanity and all that...Edward Gilbert?
Is it Julienne? No to all, although a desert might include it. It is a place about 50 kms outside a capital city.
Oh no, no desert. I was going for Vallée Julienne as a place, apparently there’s a horse called Julienne and obviously julienne as in the chef. Poo.Is it Julienne?
And I found a pair of trousers called Julienne in terms of the material. Horse racing not my bag, either.Oh no, no desert. I was going for Vallée Julienne as a place, apparently there’s a horse called Julienne and obviously julienne as in the chef. Poo.
