I’ve got this feeling we will have signed nobody by the time we play Watford. I just don’t think the club has sorted its feet out.
I disagree I think he was highly rated, but a move didn't work out and his stock fell.

Time for gambles is gone bud. We need instant hits. We should have signed Botman, Trippier, Digne already with a CM (Veretout/Gink) and CF (Isak/Vlahovic) a high priority.

I have a feeling Gayle is going to be difficult to shift before his contract runs out. He doesn't seem that bothered by limited playing time compared to getting good wages. We could always offer to pay his wages though I suppose.
He can at least stay fit though, and considering Norwich, Watford and Burnley are basically championship teams, he should be able to school against team at least.
Again I'm going to disagree because we can sign as a bit of everything and it's not all about the next few months..

We should be terminating the contracts of Gayle, Hendrick, Dummett and Gillespie. Probably more. It's why I'm twitchy and always have this worried feeling that we're just not as rich as is being made out, why wouldn't you just ship these wastrels out?

I'm twitchy, mate. Everton signed a left back on the 1st Jan.
And, no, I'll be panicking way before Watford if we've not signed anyone. Watford is halfway through the month. I expect we'll all be panicked if we're still player-less by then.
