We're going to need a lot of new players if we're serious about competing so a few cheaper options from L1 are absolutely fine.

Never had it xmas cancelled Mac, partners dad is on end of life and on top of that she got covid along with my daughter who is a nurse so pretty bad christmas to say the least.

Ended up giving all the meat i got away as it would have gone off.

Genuinely sorry to hear that mate. Lost a great aunt myself yesterday - not a surprise at 95 but she's the last of my grandparents generation and one of my earliest, fondest memories, so still cause for sadness and reflection.

Here's wishing you and yours an altogether more positive new-year....!

He only went into hospital 10 days before, he was ill but we never expected the news they gave her so was bit of shock and everything went out the window then.

We wish you and your family a happy new year as well and everyone else who uses this forum.

Slater would be a cheap option as only has 6 months left on his contract or have I got that wrong ( wouldn’t be the first time lol)

True. Comparing our squad last times we went up to current squad. We have a lot of rebuilding to do. Hopefully it starts this coming months.
