According to Wikipedia he plays as a winger for SAFC on loan from Man City. That was quick!
He was excellent at Celtic. Cracking left peg on him. Would be a class signing at this level IMO.
He’s only got 6 months left on his City deal and at 23 I doubt it’s getting renewed.

His lack of game time is irrelevant to me. You only have to look at what LJ has done with Pritchard who’d been doing nothing for a couple of years

Since then his career looks like it stalled a bit but he's only 24 League one and the way we play might be a perfect fit.
He'll be in exactly the same situation as Pritchard.
Both were sold to Premiership clubs for over 10m as youngsters but it hasnt worked out for them, so theyll be both trying to get their careers back on track with us. If it works out we will have signed 2 absolute bargains.
We are starting to see now the quality Pritchard possesses that once made him such a highly rated player. Potentially he looks a class above League 1 and even the Championship. Hopefully Roberts can make the same impression.

Pretty exciting news although I was also excited at signing Jones last season. Good start to the window if it comes off.
Hopefully Johnson gets him going again like he has with Pritchard, them two are over £20 million pounds worth of players at one point playing in league one man
