https://www.sunderlandecho.com/spor...ing-stance-on-callum-doyles-loan-deal-3514775 Doesn't sound like anything is imminent as he's still at Troyes
Aren't Troyes part of the city group? Surely the admin shouldn't be too much of an issue. Also are there anymore on loan at city group teams we can have ?
Phil Smith from the Sunderland echo has wrote ‘a deal is not thought to be imminent in his article’ now we see who has the better sources him or footy insider
He normally seems to be fairly cautious when talking about transfers. I could be wrong but I’m sure he’s said something similar in the past and a signing was announced not to long after.
https://www.thenorthernecho.co.uk/s...nsfer-latest-black-cats-sign-patrick-roberts/ Echo says he’s coming here… know nothing about him but, reading this thread, good news if true
Signing players feels like it takes as long as buying a house. Somewhere there is a solicitor faxing a hand written note to another solicitor requesting a letter to invite him to sign for us, but the other solicitor is out the office for a week and no-one else can handle the fax machine
They should bever have went to fax machines. There was never owt wrong with the old Roneo copier. Apart from getting red ink all over your school shirt that is, and getting Holy hell when you got home!
Or the fax is out of paper and no ones noticed. If its anything like anywhere ive ever worked no ****er fills the paper trays.
As we saw with the summer, better players for this level take longer to get over the line. If you trust the recruitment team, then having to wait means the calibre of player coming in is high.
Didn't we have this in the summer and the wait then turned out worthwhile. It's a proper ride being a Sunderland fan.
