I do feel free, Heed, and shall continue to do so until you buy your way out of trouble. Assuming you do, that is. As for being an embarrassment, you'll forgive me for dismissing that as a notion. NE football has been a joke for years. NUFC, SAFC &, to a lesser extent, MFC have been amongst the best-supported clubs in the country for years. And what have we won in all the time I've followed them? I think the three clubs can rustle up one major trophy each and I've been following Sunderland since 1970...

I’m quite surprised why there are no questions about your owner, who has shown as much leadership as a 21 year old kid?
I’m not sure what to make of it all, just seems he was bored and fancied a newish (used) toy??
 
I think we're both going to find out a lot more about our owners and consequent prospects when the transfer window opens in January. It will be interesting to see what Johnson asks for then and whether or not he gets it. Remember that our owner is starting from way below where you are, so his outlay is consequently going to be vastly smaller than yours will face, albeit that the Saudis won't have the slightest trouble paying it. His upside is huge if he &/or his team get it right, so the appearance of not having done much while the transfer window has been closed is merely deceptive. We shall see....
