I’ve got a 4 freebie tickets for the upcoming England rugby union game v Tonga on sat 6th November @ Twickenham. Will let them go in pairs

I can also throw in my passes for the Debenture lounge.

Anyone interested?
What a brilliant generous offer.
I like going to the occasional international game and already have tickets for the Tonga game.
Would love to be involved if you have any future offers.
Cheers

Not freebies but ..... extra tickets have been released to Deb Holders for England Rugby 6 Nations games both Home & Away. All around £100each. Not on sale to the general public, so happy to get them for you.

Once again a nice offer <ok>

Off on a bit of a tangent but related subject, was talking to someone outside the UK about where I am from and rugby cropped up in the conversation, although he was a fan and player of union he knew of FC and Rovers. I mentioned that in general rugby league is northern and union southern, he stumped me by asking which is the nearest Premiership club to Hull. Any idea?

Its not Leeds anymore!!! So it would be Sale or Newcastle - prob both about the same distance from Hull

Cracking question.

Is this accurate?

There are more young uns playing union than league, even oop North, outside of Hull.

If we define "Hull" as the midpoint between the MKM Stadium (which is where the rugby league team Hull FC plays) and Craven Park (which is where the rugby league team Hull KR plays), then "Hull" is half way down Brazil Street off Holderness Road - which, incidentally, is where ex-Hull City player Ken Smales lived when he was a lad.

From there, as the crow flies, using Google, the distances to the Gallagher Premiership Rugby sides' stadiums are:

Leicester Tigers 84.82 miles
Saracens 148.37 miles
Northampton Saints 107.34 miles
Harlequins 158.89 miles
Exeter Chiefs**
Gloucester 152.68 miles
London Irish 156.11 miles
Newcastle Falcons 103.24 miles
Wasps***
Worcester Warriors 130.93 miles
Sale Sharks 86.60 miles
Bristol Bears**
Bath**

The bits in brackets are for the people who spend whole days posting about rugby league, as a demonstration of how little they care about rugby league.

** ****ing miles away, forget it.
*** not even the name of a real team, surely. Anyway, it's 102.39 miles.

Is that the not real team whose stadium holds 7,000 more than the MKM?

Of course Ken Smales was best known for his exploits for Bridlington Town. For some of us, anyway.
