Ralph still in by the smallest of margins. After a dreadful first 15 min we clicked and the players woke up but we could easily have been three nil down.
My concerns with Ralph once again came with the substitutions, Long, Djenepo and Walcott…..omg! None of these should be anywhere near the first team and he took off effective players. Tella was giving their back line hell and looked full of running at the time of being taken off

Look at the bench - who would you have subbed on?

Therein lies the real problem

You mean the injury problems? That is on Ralph now is it? With a fully fit squad that would have been Armstrong, Adams and Armstrong available as options before those three - either to start or with the players starting instead of them being the subs

So I am not sure what you expect from our squad. How many players should we have ?

And the main complaint recently has been Ralph running players into the ground and not using subs. So it is starting to sound like he can’t win

Unless you are suggesting the bench should have been B team players instead. I assume they aren’t good enough

That was literally my point. The players and squad is not good enough - not Ralph.

They were sensible substitutions, seeing as we're have (or we're meant to have) a game on Saturday. Particularly Broja.

I know I voted out, but it’s not a very strong Ralph out. It’s just because (like most) I am getting bored of the results. However last night we at least looked as if we tried to fight. Think results wise I just miss the squad that was winning all the time on our rise back from league 1 (yep I still miss out lower league days)

Oh I assumed this was an attempt at piggybacking off of the Brentford match thread where people pretended a game was still happening

Others clearly missed this

Ralph was in Pickwell Farm shop, getting his Christmas tree today.
A woman I know, who works there, posted a selfy with him on Facebook.
He looked very happy and it looks like he is staying for Christmas.

I'm excited that the Ralph was near my old stamping ground

Used to play on bikes and motorbikes on some rough ground on the other side of Grange Lane
We were once stopped there by a copper when we were pushing a motorbike back home
He seemed to think he was in a US Cop drama
He stopped his car and sidled towards us in a cowboy fashion, casually removed his Ray Bans and said "You been shootin' the main drag?"

... To be fair we may well have been shooting the main drag
