The Adelaide Oval is still a beautiful ground, lovely wicket usually. I'm starting to dread this already, surely we can't leave Broad out again. Yes there's meant to be spin in the wicket later on but you need to get tge runs on the board first and have a decent spinner to use the turn. We handed the Aussies the biggest pre match boost they could've got in Brisbane by leaving almost 1200 test wickets on the sidelines. Broad should've been a nailed on starter on that wicket with those conditions and his record v left handers and Warner in particular, but we all know the rest. Does anyone outside of Root and the management believe Leach is gonna win us a test, delusional and clueless. We've left out Wood too, one of the 2 bowlers who bowled well. Yes he bowled alot of overs but he's the only pace we have and now we're behind, we need to bowl them out cheaply in the first innings and somehow get 350 plus. Stop sniggering Col lol, we've gotta get a decent score sometime. Haven't we ?
Just been reported here that Pat Cummins is a doubt for the test as he has been identified as a close contact of somebody with Covid-19. Not official but it's possible we've lost our captain and best bowler.

Last time we had a day-night test at The Adelaide oval it was against India and I we dismissed them for 36 and 244 runs all out but Hazlewood and Cummins took 13 wickets between them.
