If you need a test I'm sure it's just lateral flow as pcr is for those with symptoms. Lateral flow you scan the qr code on top and say if its positive or negative and you get a message sent to you. Or so I have heard never sent my result in myself as its alway been negative and this thing has took over life enough without getting involved in stats

Aye you get an email and a text showing date of test and outcome

Not sure about adding a UK booster to an EU (France or otherwise) certificate, but EU certificates as accepted perfectly well in the UK, as are NHS certs here in France.
So should be no issue if you have one of each!
But as per Topcat's post, seems you can get them merged as well. Problem might be the time. A friend who came over here had his jabs in Scotland, but the Scottish certificate is not accepted in the EU. Took him over a week to get it converted to a full NHS certificate.
