You need to get out more mate. Stop worrying about a zoom meeting because in time people will be more interested in the economy and more important stuff. This won’t bring Boris down.
As much as i hate Johnson for taking this country backwards, that photo is rather pathetic. If thats the best they can come up with then he must be pissing himself laughing.

Boris has had a mare of late and has let himself and many others down.
however this carefully timed and placed picture is pathetic. if he was in a party hat with Hancock and others getting drunk with a snowball in his hand I would have a different opinion. All that picture shows is the PM with his close aids talking on a zoom quiz/meeting at the same time he had organised the purchase of extra Pfizer and was getting the roll out sorted.
Sorry but a 15 minute thank you to staff v our fantastic roll-out?

You're never going to be voting for somebody that exactly represents your views (unless you actually stand yourself, I suppose), so I would say vote for the individual or party that comes closest. If you don't believe that the current electoral system gives your vote sufficient weight, vote for a party that would change it. Not voting is indeed apathy, I would say.

But, yes, I’m more likely to back some local issue independent (or not at all) than any of the main parties. Vote any of them and you get the same old **** again and again. Others can and will go ahead and keep these hapless career politicians in parliament, but I won’t be me.

I don't think I've ever voted for the same old ****. Most of my votes have been anti-sameoldshit Tory. When Blair got in and he turned out to be sameoldshit, I voted for minority parties. We got close to very different **** in 2017.

If you’re intimidating that you voted for Jezza in 2017, I’d say that’s an example of what I said in an earlier post about extremes. As it turned out, thankfully we didn’t actually get close to having him - not sameoldshit, more aloadofoldcuntwobbles.

What do I want? Well, by way of a relevant current example, an end to this restrictions and lockdown madness, the very notion of vaccine passports and what seems a trend towards the vilification of the in-vaxxed.
We have this with Boris. Labour can only offer the same only sooner, longer, deeper.
Why would I want extreme (if it’s extreme right or left?)
There’s oodles that I’d love see done with regards to crime & punishment, education, divorce laws, drug laws, immigration, defence… none of which I’d particularly call ‘extreme’, but I’d imagine those happy with that status quo perpetuated by the current political classes might think otherwise.
I’m sure anybody that can be arsed would find many of my thoughts buried somewhere across the near-3,500 pages of this thread.
I've been all over the place in my views regarding the efficacy and desirability of lockdowns, but I'm now settled in the opinion that they were necessary in pre-vaccine times (and should probably have been introduced sooner), but that now that we have the vaccines we should just get on with things and learn to live with the virus. I don't have any particular problem with the current restrictions, though.
I'm not saying you should want an extreme alternative to the status quo, rather that if you don't like it you should use your vote to try to change it. Not voting changes nothing.
