I mean, we're by far the better team ATM, so there's that. At Barcelona are skint ATM too... But this is Spain where the government is always there to bail big football clubs out, and you got to think he's going to get more money, pay less taxes, and be higher up the pecking order in Barcelona for the long run.
If he's as good as reports say, great! But I doubt we get him.
All he and his agent want is the offer from barca. They are just scatter gunning club names out to pressurised barca for a contract.
Who knows what state Barca's finances are in right now, some of the reports in the summer were just staggering.

I've seen bits and pieces of some of them but nowhere near enough for an informed opinion. I bet theres some quality there though
The most important thing to note is those kids "ought to" be willing to play for free at 17 to get the chance that they have and the next most important thing to note is 17 and 18 year olds like pedro, fati and gavi are.much cheaper to pay than coutinho and greizmann etc.
Makes sense to fire sale a lot of the high earners even on a free to get them gone if the kids are reasonable.

Looks too much like Gavin. I can't get behind supporting someone called Gavin. Gavin sounds like the kind of guy who drinks at the cheese... Not that there's anything wrong with that... But not a high class footballer.
What about a Gary? Or a Gabi? Or a Javi? I feel you're focussing too much on Gavin.
That's because Gavins shouldn't be playing football, they should be drinking beer and playing darts.
This completely wrong I'm afraid, gavins should only be found lurking in lofts and spare rooms playing with their exact replica model railways, anorak lying forlornly in the corner.
Possibly they maybe allowed one friend called Colin.
