LOTS OF DIFFERENT PLACES
Dalglish has called for more protection for suarez - it seem slur alchies comments about suarez last week did the trick - how can ferguson get away with calling a player a diver when his team is full of them - referee today was afraid to give liverpool any free kicks when suarez was clearly fouled
 
He's very strong and defenders have to get very physical to get anything from him and therefore foul him a lot.

I don't want to curb his angry side as I think that is what makes him tick.
 
Sorry to butt in on your board, but there is another point of view. I think a lot of people who don't support Liverpool or Manchester United would make two points.
1. Suarez is an out and out cheat who dives at every opportunity and pretends to be hurt when he isn't. That has already contributed to Rodwell being sent off; there may be others, I can't remember.
2. Of course Ferguson is a hypocrite; when you think of Ronaldo, Van Nistelrooy and many others, it's the pot calling the kettle black.
Both Dalglish and Ferguson are trying to manipulate referees to their own advantage, and both clubs get more than their fair share of dodgy decisions going in their favour. Neither will be happy until they get every single decision going their way.

Further to you point 1. This may be your opinion but that does not make it true. When you have a player who's game is based upon spinning defenders and taking the ball into close contact areas then there will always be contact. Sometimes that contact is fair and in others it is clearly not. However to catagorically state that Suarez is "an out and out cheat who dives at every opportunity and pretends to be hurt when he isn't. " cannot be allowed to stand without challenge.

Agreed it's only an opinion, perhaps I should have worded it better. My point is I think you'll find it's an opinion held by a lot of non Liverpool supporters. The way he acts when he goes down he would need Wolverine-like powers of recovery to carry on if he really was hurt that badly.

Out and Out cheat. How many of those are in the game these days. I remember Drogba rolling off and back on to the pitch, handing in a goal, Scoles tried that one too. Henry took a double hand touch to control the ball for France.

Do we have all day to actually list all the fakers in the prem? Rooney had some choice dives last season, Hernandez Gerard Nani Pav Joe Cole Suarez and Drogba Anelka Pires was a real chancer, diving is well and truely part of the game, thing is, when it is done well it ends up being debatable and when it is done badly it looks so bad.

Suarez was taken down yesterday by and outstretched leg and even the commentators said dive even though the replay clearly shows he was taken down, commentators said he roled, he actually didn't, he turned over once with momentum and had not gone tumbling. Fergie's comments have had an effect alright, on the ref and media in general but tey do love a good storm don't they.

The lad just needs to keep going and scoring, a goal yesterday would have been the perfect answer but it was not to be, wonder how his off self yesterday had to do with all this bullshit going on at the moment.
 
Fergie seems to have started a witch-hunt against Suarez and its worked. Commentators and pundits are all now talking about Suarez's bad habits rather than concentrating on his ability. Even the ref's have been manipulated.

Furthermore - it's not a dive if there is contact. I have not seen Suarez dive since he arrived at Anfield. Yes - we will exaggerate fouls (which I do not condone) but there is always contact.

If you don't make sure the ref knows you are fouled you may not even get the free\pen, sad but true.

All top managers are hypocrites when it comes to their own players. I dunno if any of you saw Lawrenson's article in the Mirror:

For me the big point from that article is the role of the players (and probably manager) at Chelsea in getting Drogba to stop throwing himself around and work on riding challenges. I remember back at the time Chelsea players were evidently getting pissed off with Drogba's antics on the pitch, but Mourinho was still defending him to the hilt off it and demanding protection, whilst probably spending a good part of every training session trying to get him to stop diving. The same thing happened back in 2004 and 2005 with Ronaldo - SAF was calling for protection for him pretty much every week, whilst at the same time it was obvious that behind the scenes someone was having a word in Ronaldo's ear and warning him what an embarrassment he was becoming.

I think the whole "protection from referees" thing is largely just a smokescreen managers use when they know in their heart of hearts that they need to make their players tougher and teach them to stay on their feet more. And I reckon Dalglish has been around long enough to know that he'll need to do that with Suarez if he's to realise his potential in the EPL.

That depends on the actual contact, at least half a dozen times yesterday Saurez backed into defenders, who made no challenge at all, and then fell to the floor looking for a free kick, even though there is contact in those instances he is still diving trying to gain an unfair advantage. Hopefully more refs start to ignore these kind of dives then we might just start to see less of them.

Suarez says he doesn't dive. Kenny has said that he doesn't dive. The majority of Liverpool fans believe that he may go down easily but that he doesn't dive. then ferguson should make sure of his facts.
But hey! the hypocrit defended Ronaldo and continues to defend Nani

Kenny hasn't said anything about larry fishburne pretending to be kneecapped at Anfield. Suarez like all forwards has dived. What's your point? \Should we do a fergie, tell a player to dive to get pens and then have him make a fake apology for PR pruposes

Oh so Suarez and Dalglish have denied that Suarez dives. The tv replays must all be edited to show him diving then. My mistake!

for all fergie and his gob about Suarez, Rooney and young dived already in this City game,young stepped over the foot and I dont know what hppened him after that, some sort of gravity well grabbed his leg and pulled him down because there was certainly no contact:)
