Farce is spot on - it’s like playground bullies stamping on your new shoes.

nonetheless, I’m assured the bottomless pit is for real and that the Emir is desperate to flaunt the cash within it and proceed to rub oodles of chilli sauce into the open wounds of the enemy

I think it's just upgrade, upgrade, upgrade. What we've got is a load of players starting who should mostly be backup. Some are more urgent - CM, CB, LB but every position could be upgraded. Except Joelinton, of course.

That’s true, but we can have everyone anyway so the other positions will be filled and the real challenge will be keeping our galaticos happy when not playing
