Maskey (that extra e should flush him out) seems to post a teaser every now and then but is conspicuous by his absence in general.Only Wednesday, but in the absence of any midweek game, let's start this one a bit earlier.
Not seeing anything from Masky on here lately. I'll put this up for now, but as before, Ill merge threads if something appears.

Need to keep the results coming.
Another 3 points would be most welcome.
Might share in your optimism then OS.

A tough game for sure but one we can win (or not lose!) if we control the midfield and our defence is tight.
I’m sure I’m not alone in not wanting to see Vaulks or Bacuna or Collins in the starting X1.
Injuries aside it should be the X1 that started at Luton with Davies or Harris in place of Collins.
ps Wonder if the scruffy jock ex jack will feature![]()
Problem Clingo is City start so slowly, simply passing it back and across the line with no real forward movement from the midfielders which just gives the initiative to the opposition who take it by scoring early leaving City having to climb a mountain defending against a team sitting on a lead eg QPR and Hull.I think this is winnable but the only thing putting doubt into my mind is thde fact that we are at home.
Easy for me to make wildly incorrect observations since I don 't get to games, but I feel that at home we don't have the same siege mentality that we display away from CCS. I guess the psychological effects of home and away is something that could be debated elsewhere as it doesn't just effect us.
The Blades resurgence looks fragile at times and I think we are the type of team to upset them.
Its a fetcher and carrier we need. Someone in the Joe Allen mould. Go and get the ball off the back 3 and play it forward to attacking mids / forwards.Problem Clingo is City start so slowly, simply passing it back and across the line with no real forward movement from the midfielders which just gives the initiative to the opposition who take it by scoring early leaving City having to climb a mountain defending against a team sitting on a lead eg QPR and Hull.
In those games the midfield was changed on the hour and it improved the forward momentum but we’re only playing positive football for 30 minutes out of 90.
So if Morison picks the correct central midfield we should be able to start more purposefully and be more attacking.

Our 3 CBs are not comfortable on the ball and need an easy out to play to in order to get things moving.
doesn't need to be a world beater, just someone whose job it is to transition defence into attack, to take the ball off the back 3 and play simple forward passes.

The midfield 3 which started at Luton should be first choices with Vaulks and Bacuna only as standby’s if only absolutely necessary and then only if Bowen or Sang aren’t fit.I go with that remote, but at the moment we're stuck the opposite type of player.
Someone to take the ball off the front 3 and pass it backwards........![]()

Maybe tell them were playing the opposite way from what we actually are.
Sheff U always seemed to me to be our nemesis. From reading about losing the FA Cup final in 1925 to listening to the promotion disaster in 1971 to witnessing the humbling 1-6 loss in 1977...but we’re unbeaten in the last 5 meetings.
No as we’re unbeaten in past 5Time for a change then eh?
