Hope my prediction doesn't put the kiss of death on your winning streak.

Ok on another day we go 2 down but we didn’t & we started the 2nd half brightly so what made Morrison do what he was unprofessional and inexcusable. He knows if he gets that wrong he walks and we face 35 minutes with 10 men. (There’s an argument he should have been hooked on 45 as he was terrible up to then)
Plus to compound it our best player has to make way.
Ok we are 10 men but that doesn’t excuse such a limp defensive display after the sending off. We still should be able to compete in our own half but we were clueless not knowing what to do.

And his namesake has to explain his decision not to start Colwill and Moore. Collins is just a passenger. Plus why bring on a non footballer Vaulks rather than an attacking talent like Colwill?

Overall Sheff U showed again like so many teams their players are so much better in terms of skill and speed than all ours.

We may well have been pegged back 11 v 11 but we’ll never know due to a lamentable moment of incompetence.

They played that little ball in behind Morrison and Nelson from the start. This continually showed Morro's loss/lack of pace. We could have easily been 2 down before we scored if Sharp had lived up to his name.

Smithies had no fault for any of the goals and they could have had 6 or 7 were it not for him. So delighted he kept out the Jack Pikey effort right at the end. He is an obnoxious piece of work.

WoL's player ratings said Collins worked hard and competed well in the air. Ffs, was their man Tom at the same game? I don't think Collins won an air ball all afternoon. How we can start games with him beats me.

In the end Sheffield took full advantage of their extra man and continued to pass and rotate the ball until they got a spare man. Their first goal was an excellent strike which I could see coming a mile off when Pack slid in and glided gracefully out of the way.

    Bright spots?

Ralls worked his balls off all afternoon and laid on both our goals. We are a much better side with him playing.

Isaak Davies had a stormer I thought. He gave his full back hell and made one pull back first half when none of the rest of the team would have got close to the ball. I wish he could get clear runs at defenders inside the box. He will win us loads of pens if they can catch him.

Disappointing to lose the game having won the first half but responded well in the last 15 minutes where Moore should have scored but forced a Gordon Banks like save from their keeper.

We will play worse and win once we get a bit of luck.
