Why change the Brentford side? Just put Dubs in and win the game on Tuesday.

We had 52% possession..

Jesus it's like everys forgot Arsenal are 4th.. They look a very very good side just lack the strikers imo

Because I think a back 4 would be better. With the 3 centre backs we need at least one capable of directing the defence as it is we don't and so they are at sixes and sevens. With 2 centre backs they'll have the zones and relatively speaking stick to them. I'd have Hayden (I know @Ben 10 ) sitting in front of them but he's not allowed over the half way line.

You think but you don't know... I would personally just pick the side that would've destroyed Brentford If Dubs was in.

This is no time for trying something new
 
I’m not keen on a change in formation. If Howe thinks it’s a good idea so be it but I’d just keep on the path for now. I’d tweak the personnel instead and ignore the Arsenal result. They’re a good side. If instead we remove Darlow, Lascelles from Brentford side, bringing in Fernandez, Dubravka. That just leaves Kraft or Clark, meh brown dog ****, white dog ****, it’s still ****. We just need to be a little better than we were against Brentford and we should have a good chance of winning.
 
I’d take Willock out, not shelvey. My basic preference is identical to DPP with this one exception, and going 433 or 4231.

That said, a 343 with maybe Hayden, Fede and Schar could be useful, with Almiron, Shelvey, Willock and Fraser behind the front three.
 
For two reasons I see this game as the one where we get some indication of how good or bad we are.

Personally it’s a must win game for moral and for points.

A defeat would be a huge blow.

I think we will win.

I also think 4-3-3 should be dropped as a formation. The main reason is the midfield being over ran.

It’s slightly different so I would go 4-5-1.

Why's everyone so keen to get Hayden in?

We had 52% ball and 23 attempts vs Brentford..

Play the same side but put Dubs in seems sensible

Yes that's a bonus...

If we get lacelles, ritchie (hate saying that but he's no left back) Hayden and Krafth replaced we'll be improved overnight

I think Hayden is ****. But in a midfield 5 you need a defensive minded option.

That’s why we where cut open in the last two games. With ease!
