that must be the most exciting thing ever to happen to a Volvo car!!

I've lost count how many Volvos I've had.

Probably around 15 since the early 90s.

Only left the fold once. And that was when I bought a Saab.

Currently got a V60 which I've had for years and mainly use as a runaround. Adaptive cruise control means it almost drives itself. Active Xenon headlights are the best I've ever used.

The other is an XC70 which I use for towing.

That is a dull drive though.

Built like a tank: it's an excellent tugger.

Volvo: Best car ever. FACT.

Thought they were meant to last forever, you should only have had one!

You sound like my dad. Swore by Vauxhalls, only because the dealer was at top of our street.

Do you reckon there are any librarians that read these threads?

I've just got this vision of them going mental at seeing 'cars' filed under 'fire'. :emoticon-0102-bigsm

well I hope that everyone is ok and there are no casualties. hopefully a story of a big fire reported by someone called burnsy helped get the message out and people are safe.

Apparently after midnight that the A63 west will be re-opened.... People right behind it will have been trapped there for close on 7 hours.... its a ridiculous road, no hard shoulder, so no way for emergency services or recover to get there quickly...

Yes it has just a bit...
I drove past about half 5 and the police and ambulances were still fighting their way through the traffic to get to the scene which is ridiculous given it happened an hour before I passed. I came off at Melton but the traffic was ridiculous all over. Have to feel for those who are still stuck now

my part dyslexia read that as
