It'll be interesting to see what the future holds for Morgan. I suspect he might have stepped down as captain if we'd won this tournament, but having lost he's expressed a wish to carry on. The crucial question is, 'Is he still good enough as a player to command an automatic place'? I suspect not, so probably time for him to go. He should however be offered a senior position in England's management structure.

It's only another year till the next T20 World Cup in Australia. He's said he wants to continue in the role until then and there's no way they are gonna drop him after all he's done for English white ball cricket !

I'm not saying they'd sack him, but a quiet word and an offer of a management role might persuade him to stand down. He knows himself that his recent form hasn't been good enough.

I expect him to stand down after next year's event, I think he wants to go out on a high. If Stokes, Roy and Archer are all fit then we would be favourites to win it on fast Aussie pitches
 
Real ****storm going on at Yorkshire over all these alleged racist comments. All the hierarchy resigning or being pushed, Vaughan fiercely denying he made racist comments towards Rafiq, who is now saying that he is deeply disappointed in Root for saying he never heard any such remarks. Just wonder what affect this will have on Root for the upcoming Ashes and beyond, indeed any other Yorkshire players such as Bairstow. I'd like to hear what Rashid has to say on the matter, as he played for Yorkshire for a good few years.
 
Aussies putting the squeeze on very effectively.

With his little ‘tache and physique Wade appears to be in a Rod Marsh lookalike competition. Needs to add a few pounds though. And brush up his sledging.
