Just had a look at average first innings score at Abu Dhabi and over 61 games it is 141, which puts England’s score into some sort of context for me. Average second innings score is 128. Highest run chase is 166 Win ratio in favour of the team batting second though 27/34
Be very tempted to let Woakes bowl his 4 straight out. Two more overs like that last one could kill the game off.
Santner at no.7 has always looked one place too high. But it really does right now. Huge pressure on these two, and the next two. But they're good enough.
