Could Yorkshire be removed from the County Championship, until they can demonstrate a positive change? Harsh, I know, but it may be the only thing that makes the board take notice.

Not wanting to take advantage of what is a terrible situation but I saw that one of those games was an Ashes test in 2023. Would be great if they moved it to the Ageas instead.

I don't think they'll lose that test TBH.

There's going to a lot of Indian supporters cheering on Namibia right now.

It would be good to see what was actually in the report to be able to make an informed comment. Unfortunately, once politicians are involved there seems to be a competition to see who is the most outraged.
I know this is a stereotypical comment but I have an impression of Yorkshire CCC board members being made up of Geoff Boycott and Fred Trueman type characters who look down on someone not indigenous to the county.
But I have only seen Gary Ballance's version of his relationship with Azeem Rafiq and Michael Vaughan's response to his alleged comments. I assume there must be more still to be heard for Julian Knight to call it "one of the most repellent and disturbing episodes in modern cricket history".

I would be interested to hear more about this. We’re only hearing one side of the story and obviously a very sensitive subject.

I’ve always been weary of so called banter that is based on race etc, but I’ve been around people who did and it generally went both ways. I can’t say that happened on this occasion but we won’t hear about it now

Big blow if that's Roy done for the competition (which it surely is).

Who comes in to open / takes his space in the side for the next game? I assume Vince comes into the squad but probably not the starting team ?

Vince would be the most straight forward change. Just a straight swap of openers.

But Billings, I would suggest, is the more likely change. With Bairstow (or possibly Malan) opening, the middle order moving up, and Billings slotting in at number 7.

Looking forward to this, I think the injuries have just tilted it in NZ's favour. Would like to see Livingstone promoted up the order.

    And winning the toss?
Do we get to bowl with a wet and slippery ball later?
