I am finding this story VERY hard to believe.

And no matter how many callndars I look at, not one of them will confirm to me that it's April the First, today.

(could this be a cunnunig plan to turn our friends to the northi nto a feeder Club for Inter and Marseille?
OR, in NUFC speak, they will have Inter and Marseille as their Reserve Teams:emoticon-0102-bigsm).

Hahaha hahaha hahaha

UEFA rules
This states that no two clubs or more participating in a UEFA club competition may be directly or indirectly controlled by the same entity or managed by the same person.

Two massive clubs who regularly play in European competition, and a yoyo club from northern England. I wonder who they'll prioritise.
You mean they won't just accept a newly issued Saudi Royal Decree stating that each club will be the sole responsibility of separate Saudi nominees right up until the point that MBS and PIF want to say different?!

Just like when they had to pretend they never wanted Conte, Gerrard, Emery, etc ...

... just as they're pretending Howe is actually the best man for the job they'll pretend PIF buying other clubs won't affect NUFC.

Apparently the old Crone has been boasting, on their board, how he's having a great laugh on here, I'm sure he'll be on soon to tell us why this is actually great news for Newcastle.
Just goes to prove my point, best not reply to these thick saddo scum or we'll never get rid of them off here... <laugh><laugh>

As much as I don’t want those horrible bastards owning any football club, I find myself hoping it happens just so it pisses on those ****wits up the road’s chips.

Intersting quote from the Italian Journaist Marco Barzaghi. Unrest from the Saudis?

"A little clarification on the PIF issue. I say what I understand. For some time now I have been saying that something is moving. Marotta is working under the track on something important. The Saudis had concentrated on Newcastle but, as I told you, they are disappointed by the impossibility of bringing Saudi sponsors to the Premier League and by the difficulty of bringing coaches (see Conte) and top players to such a second-rate team ".

I really hope that is a real quote, laughing my back off here :emoticon-0102-bigsm

They will probably buy Inter, but say different people are buying it, there will be some way around it for them, some sort of dishonest fiddle.

Love it!! There will be a few Italian Pizza houses getting done over in Newcassle the neet <laugh>

From my, limited, understanding, they are wanting to buy sponsorship rights, rather than buy the club. I can't see them (nor anyone) forking out the amount of cash it would take to buy them. Even if they do buy them, don't think it changes much for us. I never subscribed to the mega bucks being splashed about though. Investment funds don't spend willy nilly

It's pointless trying to work out what these people want mate, it's certainly not a football club in the NE of England.

If Amanda Staveley is running the club they're obviously not serious about the football side of the operation, she's obviously clueless.

It'll be interesting for you whatever happens.

It's added a bit of excitement at the very least. Something sorely lacking under Ashley (minus a season under Pardew <yikes>)
