Having seen we got a point, l thought it may be pointless to make a point about how our team picked up only a point but as others have pointed out, a point away against a top half team, isn’t pointless. I guess my point about all of this is to point out that securing a point today is the main point of it all.

It’s been been good to read all the points from other posters who have pointed out their points of interest. Good point!

After that performance we should gladly take a point, barbet was awful tonight, he should’ve gone in with his right foot to clear, like most footballers today too one footed, when I played I practiced & learnt to kick with both feet but today you might as well cut off the non playing foot, terrible technique
He's awful nearly every ****ing game, I keep saying he's a ****ter. It's only cos he's Warburton's lovechild from Brentford that he plays every game ffs. Apparently a bit of a heated dressing room afterwards with strong words from some players to others ! Also Warburton said Odebajo picked up an injury so not all bad news. We aren't far from being a really decent side but a few individuals are holding us back.

You're pleased one of our players got injured?

Not sure Dykes is not carrying an injury.

I would like him to step down from the Scotland squad...bearing in mind he is suspended for one of those matches anyhow.

Gray is not going to Jamaica I understand

I don't want him or Barbet playing , they are liability in my eyes. Obviously I don't wish ill of him but they are costing us points regularly. I honestly believe that if Wallace and a decent right wing back allied with a different centre half to Barbet were playing regularly we'd have a good few more points than we currently do.

He is carrying one, an ankle knock Warburton said. It's alright Gray not going but Chair and Dykes shouldn't be going either ffs. If we were a Premier League side there's no way we'd be letting them go, and we play more games !

So you want nearly a 3rd of our team replaced in January, with whom and with what?

Wallace will be starting after the International break 100%, he's our best wing back. If De Wijs is fit which is doubtful then I'd play him in the 3 with Dickie and Dunne. If he isn't fit then play 4 at the back with 2 centre halves. In January we should be looking at getting in 2 different wing backs to Mccallum and Odebajo anyway, ones a sicknote and the other isn't good enough. Barbet has been poor for a long time in my eyes, there's just too many errors in him and he never looks 100% tuned in. We could either bring back the young Liverpool centre half who's out on loan which is doubtful or get a decent one in on loan. We are covered in other areas so we only have to worry about the problem areas, the ones which are constantly costing us points with individual errors because they are not good enough !

Does that include Dickie's errors, Dieng errors, both of which cost us points, and poor decision making by Chair, Willock, Aldomah, Dykes, Austin that have cost us goals? Think u r being a bit harsh mate, we are punching a bit above our eight and we are are not Liverpool

But those players don't make those errors every game. I admit every player makes an error now and then but the two I highlighted make them every game over and over. Just because they don't always get punished for them doesn't mean they're not making them. I'm not asking for us to go out and buy an Alexander Arnold just an upgrade. I've never rated Barbet, and he always looks like making an error . It dies nothing to calm down an already excitable defence. Odebajo hasn't impressed me at all and I don't see anything from him going forward that aids our attack. Getting in a couple of loans won't break the bank, and will surely give us a better chance if reaching the play offs.

I posted a while back top 3 will be top 3, got a bit knocked for that statement but it's inevitable. 4,5 and 6 are totally up for grabs. As long as we keep getting results like today, and keep winning games like Blackburn at home we will be up there, as points for 4,5 and 6 will be one of the lowest totals ever.

You say we are punching above our weight, but are there really 7 better squads in this division than ours ? The top 3 yes, definitely, but not many others in my eyes. Blackpool, Luton and Coventry, now there are 3 teams punching above their weight !

I get your point, however Odebajo was nearly mom on Wednesday, and Barbet does a lot of quality work that gets totally unnoticed, including having to play at LWB.His distribution has been poor, but so has many others as this is the Championship. I personally think he does a lot of quiet work which no one notices, as its always the Dickie show who incidentally has been at error for a lot more goals than Barbet this season. De Wijs is definitely not the solution, he is a good squad player but gets caught out through lack of awareness, pace and adaptability in every game.
