Makes up for a point we should have had at Peterborough swings and roundabout, still 6th. Two weeks to get some out of the sick ward and ready to go.

We weren't pretty tonight but I suppose we got a decent result, considering.

It's just frustrating because we generally don't look like a particularly good side at the moment. Very underwhelming, in spite of our league position.

    Dykes was completely vacuous today.

But generally speaking, we just don't seem very cohesive. There isn't a flow and a tempo to much of anything we're doing, and that's probably down to the fact that we put out a very different 11 each week.

2 weeks off very good for us.

1-1. Should have won it. For me we were clearly best but only when we put it together, which we didnt do enough and failed to take a couple of good chances at the end. Stil we are 6th according to the table QPR+ are showing.

I disagree. That's teamwork between the two. Kakay was unluckily on the wrong foot, but still stretched and got a touch on it. If he didn't get that touch, it would have been a relatively easy finish for the Blackpool player.

    Absolutely.
Warburton must try to pick a settled side whenever possible.
We missed a couple of good chances 2nd half even without playing well.
Amos doesn't keep the ball well enough imo and would never start when everyone is fit in my best 11.
4 points from two away games. That will do.

We got a point away at a top half team.

4 points from 2 away games.

    We need to rest.
    Gray not going anywhere.

I hope Lyndon is rested too.

    Regroup.

In a good position to push on from.

    Onwards and upwards

I actually think Kakay did well when he came on and we looked a bit more secure with 4 at the back.

Totally agree, brilliant block by Kakay, and had is best half of football this season for us. Suddenly seemed to read the game, which has been missing

Mmm teamwork?! Well ok but Dieng still had to save it from going in our f***** net.

We were lucky to get the point. Second best all night really and but for a dodgy decision we would have lost. Let’s hope a break allows us to regroup.

I thought we were going to win this, and another delightful Hoops break setting up Albert 1on1 in 85min should have sealed it. Thoroughly enjoyed the game after having to enjure the Cardiff non event. Thought it was back to who will score more than the oppo which is a great watch. Great away 4pts this week in top 6 with well earned break, remember we are still punching above are weight squad value wise

Can't decide if I'm frustrated we didn't win that, having dominated in spells, or relieved we didn't let the point slip away. So glad of the two week break...now to reflect on it all as I start the 22 hour ride home. :emoticon-0138-think

It wasn't going in, it was going straight to their forward.
Dieng did brilliantly to scoop it away.

It's a decent point at an under appreciated side, but the performance again was sloppy and poor in my eyes. Another individual error has cost us again even though they had a perfectly good goal disallowed. Barbet is just **** I don't care what anyone says, so laxidazical it's unreal. Passes are awful, positioning poor and just a gift for tge opposition. Brain of Britain Odebajo up to his usual standard and happy that Kakay was very good for 45 mins. Fantastic goal from Willock but Adomah's shot was awful, has to go across the keeper. Dykes' miss at the end was worse, why on earth is he not doing a diving header there ffs ? Brilliant cross from Dickie. We really need to sort out the midfield during the break cos we are getting dominated in there, have to up the tempo in our play. The defence is pointless talking about cos Warburton ain't ever dropping certain players.

Well I’m glad I didn’t see any of it then, I can just be happy with a point away from home.

What is a laxidazical? Some kind of mythical Aztec lizard?

After that performance we should gladly take a point, barbet was awful tonight, he should’ve gone in with his right foot to clear, like most footballers today too one footed, when I played I practiced & learnt to kick with both feet but today you might as well cut off the non playing foot, terrible technique

Having seen we got a point, l thought it may be pointless to make a point about how our team picked up only a point but as others have pointed out, a point away against a top half team, isn’t pointless. I guess my point about all of this is to point out that securing a point today is the main point of it all.

It’s been been good to read all the points from other posters who have pointed out their points of interest. Good point!
