Season ticket holder at Arsenal gave me this breakdown: "Emery is a decent manager. People forget the good he did at Arsenal (21 games unbeaten at one point). In my opinion he’s a great manager for where you guys are atm. Think of him as a transition manager. You’re not going to win the Premier League or Champions League with him, but he’ll put some great groundwork in and bring in some pretty decent players. I wouldn’t say his football is massively attractive but it’ll get results for sure. The problem with Emery at Arsenal is that he was always in the shadow or Wenger and had quite a bit of baggage. We don’t have a massive amount to spend on players at Arsenal so getting rid of the deadwood was quite hard."
These managers Bruce, Jones etc must see something in training to warrant playing Krafth etc. Schar must just be **** in training!
You don't pick up points in training though, no fan cares if a player is **** in training but great on match day, better than the other way round.
Something must have gone on behind the scenes - Schar and Fede out of contract this year as well aren't they... There is NO way even Bruce though Ciaran Clark was a better defender than Schar or Fede so something must have happened.
Small matter of the takeover I would imagine. It's the only explanation for some of the mind-boggling decisions and non-decisions over the past 18 months or so, not to mention the lack of communication. Onwards and upwards I say, **** the haters !!
This is my favourite: Lolz, in the third tier and getting buttfucked by Rotherham United and an ongoing Netflix series about your club falling apart? Yeah we're providing you with entertainment, sure.
So Unia Emery is the new favourite and is being discussed on sky sports news every hour. Do they know something? If they're right he seems a good appointment.
Might watch the Villareal game th'neet now, more from the aspect of seeing if he mentions owt in his pressers to give the game away!
