And I seem to remember people were very against Moyes coming here in the past. I said I would have taken him here.

Oops, looks like Garth only remembered to watch the games involving Man City, Chelsea, Liverpool, Man Utd, Arsenal, and current media darlings West Ham.

Here's how everyone responded to Moyes' getting re-hired at West Ham. A little bit awkward reading for some probably. I offer a somewhat sensible post about it one the next page (885). *Smug mode engaged*

I think the next month will be interesting for managerial merry-go-rounds. It looks like Nuno is on his way out at Spurs and the BBC is muttering about Farke's ability to manage Norwich. I am also wondering how tenable Dean Smith's position might be at Villa is we beat them on Friday. Only Watford and Newcastle have blinked so far. Newcastle now 6 points off safety and Brighton away next week for them. I think the fate of Newcastle and Norwich will be sealed by Christmas.

I think Norwich's fate is already sealed TBH!

Yeah Norwich 20th is almost a certainty tbh. Watford did nothing on Saturday to change my mind that they're 90% to join them. They'll be in the bottom 3 by Christmas.

Then it's quite tight for the last one - think it'll be another low total year though.

I think Brentford will fill the final spot, making it 3/3 for the promoted clubs, sadly. I can't see Leeds, Burnley, Villa, or Newcastle (if they spend well) realistically being in trouble come May.

10 games...he got 10 games. Not to mention having to deal with the fallout of the Harry Kane saga. Don't you just hate football sometimes. I suppose when you are that far down the list of managers they wanted in the first place, the rope you are handed is already shorter.

Yep. If I were them, I'd go -

    Conte
    Potter
    Frank

But I wonder if Conte is holding out for United.

Great signing if they get him. Where does that leave United?

Potter for me. But he would need to be given time and resources to rebuild. Flog Kane for as much as possible, he clearly isn't interested, then reinvest the lot and build around Son.

I know it won’t happen, but of all the clubs I fantasise about seeing relegated, Tottenham are probably top of the list.

I'd be a little surprised if Conte went to Spurs. Thought he'd hold out for a bigger club that has a higher chance of challenging for and winning things.

They’ll stick with Ole til the end of the season I think. Despite them being at “rock bottom” they are still pretty comfortably the 4th best team I’d say and think they will get the 4th spot ahead of the other contenders.

They don’t want to put themselves in another Ole situation where they give an interim manager a few months to potentially do enough to force them to give him the job permanently even though he isn’t good enough long term
