McCann isn't helping and I've no doubt there's creeping despondency among the players but it's hard to escape the fact that we're just not good enough. Coventry were organised and professional, we weren't. A new manager might be able to keep us up but that's the best we can expect this season, imo.

Did lose a few bets though, as Coventry didn’t put at least 4 passed us.
Change of manager/coach surely worth a shot - look at where Forest are now after changing theirs.
I know it doesn't always come off but surely worth a try, otherwise I fear it will be too late to turn it around and move up the table. It's already looking like a huge task to stay up.

Keep us up ,would have been acceptable at the beginning of the season with how little money was spent .It looks a very long way off now .and barring the top three this division looks wide open .

Tbh I don't think any of us expected to be near the top with this squad of players but McCann is hamstringing them by playing the bloody 433, it's killing their confidence, and yet again we improved when it changed to 352, not by much but at least we were in the game. We don't have a lot of quality at this level, so we need to stay in games, the more we do that the more confidence comes back and as a result we slowly build.
Sure the effort is there but too much running around like headless chickens!

Atrocious. We didn’t look like scoring even if we played into the early hours of next morning. Lots of ‘Getting sacked in morning’ in the East Stand where I was sitting. We all know it won’t be true though.
I thought we improved slightly with the 352, we don't have a lot of quality but at least they weren't in acres of space, we aren't great but for me that suits what we have better then 433
I just prayed for rain and snow and an abandoned game like in cricket.
We could have had a couple too, ultimately neither side finished well enough today, except for that 1 goal!
I don’t disagree with you, but it’s not a answer is it? Our squad is bang average, line em up how you like and that won’t change.
Plus, they seemed to lack motivation at times today. Not a good look for the manager.

We also made Coventry look like prime Barca for spells as well. They just played one-touch passes around us for fun. Other times they looked bang-average.
Seems like a common theme over the weeks... we make bang average teams in 4th 5th 6th etc look good... the bad news is, I watched WBA today against Fulham, they lost 3-0 and were by far and a way the better team... I hate to say this, but next week might be the cricket score...
Third of the way through the season and somethings got to change. I agree we lack quality but thinking we can outscore teams is now a myth. Might as well set us up as an ultra defensive unit and make us hard to beat. Boring maybe but you have to start somewhere.
