Well they got the original for f all as they didn’t pay Birse for most of the construction when Leicester went tits up and got away with murder if I recall . Hopefully they will pay for this revamp !

That was the previous owners, the current owners paid £17m for the stadium and will no doubt pay for the revamp, as they're clearly the best owners in English football at the moment.

No where else to put this, it's a bit complicated and technical but here goes. a man made waterway built in 1650 to control water levels and flooding in the wash area damaged by the environment agency. The water level should be 6ft and there is an embankment on the right side so that if the water level gets too high it will spill over on the left side. The area is sandy peat type of soil so the channel was lined with clay. The digger has turned up to clear some of the silt that has been deposited over the years, mistake 1 was digging so deep they have gone through the clay lining so water can undermine the banks and 2 they put the silt on the left bank so if the water level rises it wont spill over onto the flood plain. When the inevitable flooding happens it will go down as a result of climate crisis.

This is a bucketful he's taken out, the orange stuff is the silt which should be taken out, the Gault clay was put there when the river was built and there is also peat which has probably come out from under the clay lining, put a bloody great hole in the liner of a fish pond and see what happens
