I watched the last 30 minutes of England women versus N. Ireland tonight. Grant could learn a thing or two from watching them. 4 or 5 players making forward runs. Midfield dropping to pick the ball up, turning and playing another forward pass to a team mate who had dropped off the defensive back line. Options to pass forward, backwards, sideways and forwards.

Yes I said forward twice.

Hoping to see my team do it more often and put the opposition under pressure.

Not with Grant in charge.

Does anyone think they've got that 'Group think' thing going? Where they can't see outside of them selves and spending all the time convinced they are doing the right thing. Looking over the stats again and again for confirmation they are doing it right even though results say something has to change .

I dont get how he was eulogising about Cannon not two weeks ago and the guy cant get a game... Moncur is perhaps the one creative player we have, someone who's prepared to have a pop... cant get a game (two players brought in to supposedly improve the squad) .... Emmanuel a real athlete, cant get a game....

That's it isn't it? Players must wonder what they have to do to get a game. Play well and get dropped in favour of players clearly lacking confidence, sharpness or both.

agree. Wilks was awful today & McCann waits till 80 mins to sub him with Williams. We must have players who signed in the summer now wondering why they came . The only hope is a new manager can see what McCann can’t & changes both the formation & the 10 outfield players to fit it

I can only think he must still be in a job because the Allams expect to be leaving and they're leaving it to the new guys to make the change.

Otherwise it's inevitably back to league 1 and significant business losses.
