We knew he would fail cos he was a crap manager (as defined by his record). he did fail. the people were right.
He didn't fail last season and the one before. This season definitely thought. Football has changed and unfortunately (pun intended) he didn't move wit the times.
It has been **** from some of the fans. Most are a bit more level headed. It has got too personal at times but this is football, people get emotional. To be honest though he knows the game. He also knew full well that working under Ashley was a thankless task and because of the owner, patience and understanding is in short supply. He also knows our fans. Some of them don't give a **** about results, they either like you or they don't. Just the way it is. Plus his record tells you he's not a great manager, so of course the fans have a negative mindset from the off. So I'm not gonna sit here and have loads of sympathy because its akin to getting in the shower and complaining you've got wet.

Some of the comments on the bottom of that thread are class. Opposing fans (you can spot the Mackems) rolling out the terrible treatment from fans. My favourite is the one who wades in with the mackem classic "I remember Bobby Tobson being treated the same" To which toon fans respond with "Is it not too early to be puggled?" and "Teally?"
Bruce was told on Sunday night and that’s why training yesterday was cancelled. I am not sure I believe that but hey. That’s what I am told.
Also. Apparently Jones is taking the training and will be in charge for the Palace game. I’ve not had chance to digest the threads mind as I am at work so that may already be common knowledge.
