i would surmise the Motiv is to instil fear in Elected MPs who are about to vote on some major changes to law to stop the dinky divers, like sending them to Albania to await process, refuse asylum to any cross channel migrants , teeth and dna tests to fined out real age, and a hose of other measures announce last week

Think you could be a tad wide of the mark. Why target an MP who has done tremendous work and support for the refugees and international aide. David was a top bloke by all accounts and will be a big miss for all those who he came into contact with and represented. RIP.

Correct. However, in the last two decades the great majority of terrorist attacks have been perpetrated by Islamic fanatics. Many of these are underreported .

I just looked up the definition of terrorism and I'd be inclined to suggest the US led forces and airstrikes in Afghanistan/Pakistan having killed 71,000 civilians over the past 20 years are the biggest terrorists around.

Of course they're fighting to protect their shamocracy... so for some reason those deaths are just dandy.

I just looked up the definition of terrorism and I'd be inclined to suggest the US led forces and airstrikes in Afghanistan/Pakistan having killed 71,000 civilians over the past 20 years are the biggest terrorists around.

The name the police have of the terror suspect arrested on suspicion of murder following the stabbing of a senior Conservative MP is Ali Harbi Ali, Sky News understands.

The 25-year-old, who is a British citizen, with Somali heritage, is not thought to have been previously known to the security services.

However, the investigation into the killing of Sir David Amess is still in its infancy so that could change if new details emerge.

The suspect was arrested on Friday at the scene of the attack at a Methodist church in Leigh-on-Sea, Essex, where Sir David, MP for Southend West, had been holding his weekly constituency surgery.

The detained man was previously known to the government's Prevent scheme, which is a programme to stop radicalisation, a Whitehall source said. This detail was first revealed by the Guardian newspaper, which said that his involvement was short.

He is still in custody following his arrest. The investigation into the attack is being led by Scotland Yard's Counter Terrorism Policing.

Gareth Hall!! We need the mosques to oppose, stand up and drive out these radicals. The mail article states Imams and Muslim leaders in Southend said David was extremely friendly to them, and once told officials at the town’s Southend Mosque he even wanted to hold surgeries in their premises after Covid-19 restrictions eased.

Why does this government not take action, soft on everything. Seems to be a knife crime epidemic and nothing is being done. 4000 people being watched, sort them out instead of watching them.
