UK based holiday or abroad? Hopefully you remain without symptoms and your wife/son soon recover, and you're not inconvenienced too much!

UK mate, we have to be off the site Thursday anyway, makes sense to travel whilst I'm feeling OK, we're self sufficient so no problem if we have to stop.
Thanks for your wishes mate

The 4 of us have got it, only went to get tested because the wife had a 'heavy cold' and Son was feeling tired, he never sits still normally, so far me and the daughter feel normal. We're on holiday, waiting for track n trace to tell us if we can go home or have to stay put.

That's **** mate. To get it at any time sucks but typical to get it on holiday.

Hopefully you all recover quickly. Are you jabbed? All the best.

Yes we're both double jabbed, kids aren't but they are only 11 and 14. We're not feeling bad at all except the Mrs. We've just been told to pack up and head home by T n T

Sorry to hear that Gessa and hope everyone recovers soon without any complications. My advice would be to travel home if you're using your own transport and don't stop unless you have to for fuel or a rest. If you do stop for fuel then use the night time window to pay and explain you cannot enter the shop due to being a maniac Leeds fan.

You could undertake a trip to Bernard Castle to test your eyesight, however that's been tried before and doesn't seem to pan out too well.

Lots of debate and differing views on vaccines and whether or not to vaccinate children especially.

Our boy had his covid jab at school on Wednesday and was unwell that evening and all day yesterday. Seems fine today so he's gone back to school and hopefully all is well in the future.

Seems the uptake at school was high although there was no pressure from anyone to consent.

Unfortunately there are still so many incredibly sad stories out there of families being devasted by this horrible virus. Stay save everyone and all the best to each and every one of you.

Glad to hear that , antobody tests are needed for everyone before taking any vaccine , if then the child or adult has antibodies against covid then there is no need to take the vaccine as that person is immune already it has been proven in America tests that natural immunity is stronger than the vaccine , I have myself got antibodies against covid having had covid in July 21 and so I won't get vaccinated as I don't need it , I also had an antigen test and I don't have covid now , if varients infect me in future my antibodies will change to beat the varients so I'm not worried about any varients neither in future , also the vaccine only lasts for 6 months antibodies last forever
