That's a team from a gaffer that knows he's on the way out & is trying anything to get some wins. It's just panic and desperation. I don't see the point in Eaves, yes he scored midweek, but KLP gave him an absolute sitter.
Dropping Doc is weird, without Honeyman, he's our best midfielder.
And it's still a 433, Bernard at RB & Moncur will be out wide with Tyler as a no. 10/2nd striker.

I agree that Docherty out is weird but, given our lack of goals, Smith and Eaves up front together makes sense.
Obviously with this line up, it’s set up perfectly for 532, that turns into 352 on attack.

Probably Bernard at right-back since he can also play there and Emmanuel at left-back for Elder. Have no idea why Docherty was dropped, though only McCann and his psychiatrist knows that.
If it gets us a win,I'll settle for panic and desperation from a gaffer that knows he's on his way out.
There's zero doubt that this squad fits a 352 very nicely though too and it should have been tried.
