I was clocking the motorway services, from Sunderland to Cheltenham and it only started to get serious from Woodhall, Tibshelf and Trowell.

They were flashing 'no diesel' but after Leicester Forest they were flashing 'no fuel'.

As we got back to Cheltenham around 3.30am I thought I might pick some up but the card payment services were in darkness.

My van is diesel so I'm tempted to take some of our 'farm diesel' in cans tomorrow ...

... it's a big fine but we could go 6 points clear of 3rd place so f**k it <party>
The 'red' stuff lasts for miles and miles doest it? You should get to Pompey and back on a couple of pints of that stuff. <laugh>

I can accept that, I was at Palace, Grimsby, Sunderland, etc, when games were called off ...

... that's just part of life, not being able to go out on a weekend after graft, is just wrong.
Everyone needs a 'release' from the uncle knobhead gaffer who thinks he knows best, but in actual fact, knows **** all about anything, anytime, anywhere. Apologies, I was ranting about my particular situation. <laugh>

Tough place to go and get a result tomorrow. Not going to win 5 - 0 every game so I will take the win in the last minute with the ball going in off someone's ass. If we are not playing well then get the point and we move on. Good guide tomorrow to show how professional we can be and grind a result out. 1 - 0 to the lads....

I'd take a point tbh. Know they've had a bad start but they do have a decent squad and we don't have a great record there. They'll be well up for this, more than any other game they'll play. They'll look at this to kick-start their season. And I'd be lying if I said Wright doesn't worry me if he plays. Saying that hope we hammer them.

It’s very rare I’d be happy with a point in any L1 fixture but I’d be fine with a draw today. Keeps us top going into that international break and the unbeaten run carries on. It’s definitely a game we can win, though. Ha’way

Im nervous but still confident we are good enough to win. I would think they will be feeling the pressure more. At home - in a mini slump - playing a big rival for League 1 - a full to capacity crowd - vocal away support - and a massive gap on current form. It will be tough, for sure, although if we get that first goal......

Absolutely. Point is a good result away. Agreed with every word

Very relaxed about this game, they are a mess just now their fans are twitchy, we are playing the best football in the division , confidence high, while I would take a point , I would be disappointed, this is a game we should win.

There’s talk of McGeady being out injured. Apparently he’s been spotted in Washington this morning, watching his son play football.

Last season that would be a worry, not this year, our game is no longer dependent on a single player. This will give more game time to others and allow him a rest .
