Just thought I’d give a little feel good account of our day at the match yesterday.

A good friend of ours has unfortunately had a bit of a bad time lately with both legs needing to be amputated due to complications with diabetes.

On a whim I messaged Chris Waters to see if there was anything they could do to give him a bit of a boost with him being a long time home and away fan.

Chris went above and beyond and sorted out a black cats bar wheelchair bay seat and brought around Jimmy Montgomery to see us, I managed to convince a few more lads to part with their money and get black cats bar tickets as well and we made it a great day.

hats of to SAFC, Chris and Jimmy for a hell of a day.

above all else I think it’s made my mate realise that he can definitely still enjoy himself and there’s plenty more match experiences in his wheels of steel to be had !
