Got away with nothing at all, fully deserved a point today. Just like QPR if you miss chances like they had, you don’t deserve to win.
About time he actually influenced a game, can’t remember the last game he achieved that feat. The trick to follow it up with another good performance and keep his place, it did help playing him centrally and not out wide.
Because it’s true, both teams had 5 shots on target and both took one of their chances and their keeper had to make 2 incredible saves.
It’s better than not playing at all, which was what was happening, so who would you drop for him? Can only select 11 players.
Wouldn’t drop him for anyone with the amount of minutes he got today, but if I had him on the bench, I would use him as much as possible, so he’s ready to claim his place.. we will get injuries or players that lose their form.. he needs to be kept up to speed.
Nigel Pearson explains why Han-Noah Massengo has missed Bristol City's clash against Fulham Bristol City midfielder Han-Noah Massengo was a surprise absentee from the teamsheet to take on Fulham https://www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport/football/nigel-pearson-explains-han-noah-5969880
I will make it simple for you. We had 14 shots 5 on target, their very expensively assembled team had 22 shots and 5 on target, our keeper didn’t have to make a difficult save, theirs had to make 2. If you don’t take your chances you do not deserve to win, that is how football works. We deserved a point because we made the most of our chances and they never. I would say judging by the ovation the City players got at the end of the game by people who went to the game they were overwhelmingly and rightfully happy and proud of the effort put in by the players, I am sorry you see it differently. But I am not surprised.
Yep I do.. I commented earlier, you could not fault the efforts. All gave 100% effort. Reality though, at times you could see the difference in quality and at times, it was men against boys.. we did well to get a point.. it’s my opinion and no matter what blurb you come out with.. it won’t change my view.. I say it as I saw it. Our keeper did make a couple of saves and a last ditch tackle by Baker kept us in it.. maybe you didn’t see..
Which is exactly what they are paid to do, make saves and last ditch tackles and strikers are paid to score goals provided by them by their team mates, but if you do not take those chances you do not deserve to win and that exactly what happened today. I saw our 5mil striker take an air shot in the first half with the goal at his mercy, maybe you didn’t see.
We obviously watch games differently. your theory would suggest that Brentford & Liverpool are of equal quality too.. you carry on with your views I will stick with what I believe is reality..
hope your back held out and you enjoyed the game …... before my op, to go up the mountain 7 times in 10 days, and up to 6 hours underground, was usually on 6 - 8 co codamol [ over a few hours ] then usually 2 for coming back down .. also on naproxen . 3 a day max ... now 15 months later regularly cycle up to 30km and walk up to 7km [ try twice for both, every week , have 4 time slots ] … no pain killers now … last one day before op but had aspirin for 30 days after for blood [ a just in case precaution! ]
Why do you make stuff up? Show me where I have said anything at all about quality, I haven’t mentioned it once. In the case of Liverpool they scored 3 goals and conceded 3 goals so did not deserve to win, Fulham scored 1 and so did we so Fulham didn’t deserve to win, that is exactly how football works. Fulham have a premiership squad and we do not, but if you do not score more than your opponents you do not deserve to win. Your representation of men against boys is utter nonsense we competed for the whole 90 minutes. They were better than us because as I said they have a premiership squad but as I keep saying you have to score more to deserve to win and they didn’t.
Ok If you say so, stating the bleeding obvious..so you deserve what you get because what you get is what you deserve.... as always you must be right.. argue for the sake of.. if we draw 1-1 then that makes us equal sides!! It's not how I see it and not what we should learn from going forward.. For me, they were by far the better side and we did well to get the point..Again I stress as I did at the beginning, could not fault our effort, we gave 100%...I've never mentioned if they had a premiership outfit, but it was plain to see, from those that are able to judge a game properly, on occasions was like watching men v boys IMO, in as much you could see the difference in quality of play.. I’m happy with how you want to view games, completely different to me..let’s leave it there! NB. Apparently our goal should have been ruled offside, not that I saw it.. so by right we should have lost.. but I’m sure you have argument for that too!! Crack on!!
No doubts from me who the better side was. Their movement at times was exceptional and went through our core like a hot knife through butter. I think Bakinson was shocking yesterday, the game literally passed him by. I did feel they were very reliant on long balls to Mitrovind and to exploit our back 3
