I noticed, you didn't list all the delay in screening for breast. bowel, cervical cancers etc...not forgetting many delaying other serious illnesses not being able to be referred straight away ..the 1000s that will go undiagnosed early giving less chance for treatment to work.... doesn't bare thinking about
I suspect that the figures are regional, the NHS in some places is to reliant on highly paid double barrelled twats, who couldn't organise a piss up at Thatcher's brewery, but are good at funny shake hands with other men or are the wives of such men, much like many charities I would never donate to, when it should be retired clinicians on a far lesser wage who know how to organise, prioritise and not waste money.
As I said in a previous I have noticed very little if any change.
Last Wednesday I called my health centre for a phone call from my doctor and after telling the receptionist why, he said "both those ailments are ongoing and obviously not improving, I can book you in to see your doctor on Friday and I live in an area described as 'gods waiting room'.
