I back him because he is the manager of Hull City. I'm not a poodle and don't flap and cause a drama because we don't win every week and I see both sides of the picture. The club is on the verge of being sold and McCann had **** all to spend on new players because of it. The last time in the Championship we were fine until our two best players were sold from beneath him and we were left with players who didn't want to be here and fight.
In League 1 he couldn't do any more then win the title which I will remind you was our first in 55 years.

Firstly I’m not a poodle you need to chill the **** our it’s a forum and without debate and different opinions it’s dead.

You say people like you don’t listen but you are exactly the same - you keep harping on about ****ing it up in the Championship last time - he’s just told you why and it still does not register ! We virtually walked league 1 in the end , and then he gets no championship investment .
You’ve said you’ll wait and see I think we should but please stop repeating the same unbalanced view . We all just want to watch us doing well but some of this forum stuff is so unfair or unreasonable at the moment . Nobody has responded to my point that the other promoted teams are below us - just and they don’t appear to be slaughtering their managers !

He lost two players in the January transfer window. So what? Are you're admitting that McCann is that **** of a coach that two players carried him and the rest of the squad for months and as soon as they left, he was exposed as being inept in the Championship?

I know you have a soft spot for McCann because he's our manager or whatever but I didn't think you were thick enough to suggest a manager like Wilder wouldn't be an improvement. Deluded. You remind me of that Ty kid from AFTV.
Let's be civil shall we?

Because I post what I believe in I have to 'chill' ?
I'd turn that around and suggest that some of you joining in the witch hunt against Grant McCann should be a bit more realistic and measured with your views.

'So what' It was our leading goal scorer and our second leading goal scorer, the two biggest assets in the team, and the source of more then three quarters of all our goals. That's a bit more then 'so what'
What a stupid response.

Firstly I’m pretty sure I’ve shown you respect on this forum.
Secondly as someone who goes to every ****ing game home and away I’ll say what I want

Who is saying you shouldn't ? You asked me why I back McCann and I gave you my reasons ?
Some of the stuff posted against our manager isn't reasonable argument at all. It's nothing more then personal abuse, and those posting it know who they are.
And you're the one telling me to chill ????
We support the same club.

Losing your two best players in January is maybe the difference between finishing in the play-offs and finishing mid-table. It's not an excuse to finish rock-bottom with 1 win in 21 and losing 8 - 0 to another team that got relegated. If senior players 'downed tools' during a relegation dogfight, then whose responsibility is that? The man in charge of the squad perhaps? All I'm hearing is excuse after excuse why the 2019-20 season was anything but the manager's fault. It's delusional.

Terry is doing the job he’s employed to do for pride and a wage regardless of success or failure. Why make such a crass comment on why he’s in the job .
When the recession hit 8 years ago or so was asked to maintain the same sales as previous years with one less staff. I was given a senior salespersonthe md was keen on - she spent the next 6 months with him!! when asked why sales were down 10% I told him if she’d done her job and not spent time elsewhere they wouldn’t be - needless to say he got me out in 4 months !! Maybe Mcann should have told Ehab the same - but he’s kept his job and I spent 8months getting another . If I had my time again id say the same thing !!

Perhaps you may have misunderstood my post?

Sorry mate but a bloke who sticks to a system despite it failing miserably, who can't see the obvious in front of him, who has been through this before and made the same mistakes, but is either too stubborn or too thick to realise it aint working doesn't deserve anything other than what is being said here. It isn't panic, it's about being realistic, him and his assistant have been found out, then to Come.out in interviews and hide behind the crap he spouts by blaming everything other them himself is p1ss poor. I'd have more respect for him if he came out, held his hand up and said the buck stops with me I got it wrong, but he is incapable of such humility. Week in week out I see interviews with managers who's side have been turned over and the better managers take responsibility.. he never has, yet when he is questioned about it like proper sports journalists do he spits his dummy out and gets arsey.

You make a good case for sacking McCann in July 2020. No real relevance to today though.
