Ah yeah Peej type of men…I know what you lads mean scenario: feeling wrongly done by the driver to his side in a traffic queue. stays quiet whilst lights are red but then gives it some aggressive sign language to the guy in the next car as soon as he sees the lights turning green and cars driving off I know exactly what type
Interesting few pages ... First and foremost, footie ... some perspective, it is only a sport and peeps that don't like the sport quite reasonably consider blokes like us to be rather silly (watershed perspective) That said, for the likes of us, it plays a very significant part in our lives, playing it (for some - some now retired) watching it and discussing it - the latter being while we are on here. Football brings pain with it, that's true ... it also brings hope ... both are, to a greater extent, 'relative' to the team we follow and then the character dynamics of individual fans. Now take me, watched my first live game in 1969 and that was the start of a love affair that had its ups and downs ... second season watching us we got promoted from the old second division to the first - joy. Our manager Frank O'Farrell was then immediately poached by Man United - pain and the first dose of the reality of the footie pyramid to a young'un. When we got promoted in 2013 / 14 Vichai promised the fans European footie within 5 years ... many oldies like me raised an eyebrow at that ... but we did hope... and sometimes dreams do come true ... so lads on the football journey, don't stop believing (musical referencing)
First club I've seen going on like this. Any others? 'Away fans need to be double vaccinated and take Covid tests before entering the ground at Ipswich. Photo identification (Passport, driving licence) that matches the name on your ticket may also be required. Wearing a mask is mandatory.'
It is political. BLM describe themselves as a political movement. Players wear BLM on their shirts while kneeling. please log in to view this image # I don't believe it's racism, at all. Most folk go to the ground and expect to get away from everything that's going on in the world. We go to watch sport, not watch players kneeling acknowledging an organisation that has made a complete mockery of race issues in this country. BLM are understandably not very well liked by most folk and with good reason. Players should turn up and play football, that's what we go to see. Maybe they're booing because they know BLM members are just as racist as members from the EDL and we don't want any links to either brought into our football stadiums and sport?
It’s now moved away from BLM. Were not being booed when that started as no fans. It’s move away from BLM, listen to the players and people involved. The racist fans get back and boo players for wanting to make a difference. Best part is it’s a choice of the player, many black players not taking the knee.
First club I've seen ask for both, most have been either/or. Though I can't imagine they actually check anymore than 10/15%.
If Utd do well between now and the end of November with the fixtures they have they won't be far off the league. Bad run of fixtures followed by a load of easy fixtures, strange the way it has taken for them. I'm hoping they do **** btw.
Are you that **** who makes up those daft bets for Coral? 500/1 on Pogba to make 2 or more passes in the game and we’ll give you 5 Renault Clio’s for joining. That’s literally you, put your chips down I’ll snap your arm off and fist you with it for bantz.
