This is the thing I've been telling our board for a while.. That the clubs actually been spending money the last 2 years, but they wanted to pretend it wasn't happening still.

It's now more about how they're spending it and who they're employing.

There's no excuse for how bad the scouting and the style of play is now..

It'll get alot worse though

You haven't had any pain... You've never thrown away a 12 point lead, you've never lost 2 cup finals on a row, you've won something, you've never been relegated twice and I doubt you've had to walk around wearing a pair of tits for an extended period.

The world has gone mad, we will see 5yos jailed for falling out with a schoolmate soon for committing a hate crime.

would love to know what some of these offended people said to their mates when they were 14 or so, sadly they were saved by lack of social media.

If everyone told the truth instead of pretending they are in some way better than others then i think we all would.

Let's be honest here, we "tend" (no really do) say things to our mates and family to get a laugh/response/banter going, very little is taken or meant seriously by those who know us but could probably land us in **** if the wrong people read/heard it.
The world (or many in it) have gone from one extreme to a far distant other in the space of a very few years.

Yeah it's nuts. More of an FA process than anything else though. He's a professional footballer who's made a derogatory comment about somebody being gay, so they have to been seen to be doing something. 'The circumstances will be taken into account' probs means they will recognise that he was a 14 year old kid and just bin it off.

Still bonkers though.
