For our neighbours from the emerald isle.
Everyone delights when we are beaten...Scotland is a neighbour. France is closer. Do you feel sorry for them when they lose? Why be bothered about a foreign country which delights in us being beaten?

Where do I say I feel sorry for them? You're reading too much into it and creating something that isn't there..Scotland is a neighbour. France is closer. Do you feel sorry for them when they lose? Why be bothered about a foreign country which delights in us being beaten?

I have to admit, it was hard to feel sorry for England after the behaviour of the fans prior to the capital.
Unfortunate they were beaten, but at the same time I’m glad those pissed up ****ers went home unhappy. Sometimes it’s about more than just the football.
I think it is a fair assumption that a high percentage of that mob are not regular football fans. They are scum bags who like the anonymity of crowds to wreak havoc. Football is where the crowds are in sport so they latch on to the national football team. Doubt if many will be at games this weekend.
It's hard to say either way, certainly anybody with national pride and the world watching wouldn't act like such a dickhead, but then we had Jimmy Saville so who knows when it comes to the UK?
It's nowhere near on the level of Old Firm nonsense, but it's cringey to see grown men drinking stella in the streets and chucking hanging baskets about because England.
