Noni Madueke scores again for PSV. Got the third in a what's currently a 3-1 win over Cambuur.
That's his sixth in all competitions, IIRC.

Marcus Edwards makes it 3-0 to Guimaraes against Vizela. They went on to win 4-0.

Crouchy's had a couple of things to say about...well, guess who

“Deadline Day, August 2011. I am sitting with Harry Redknapp in his office. Daniel Levy is on loudspeaker. The conversation is not going well. Daniel says that I’m off to the Potteries.

“I go home, upset at how the talks had transpired. I loved it at Stoke and spent eight happy years there but initially I didn’t fancy it. Negotiating at Spurs is not easy and Harry Kane will have found that recently.

“There are no hard feelings, and, if I owned a football club, I’d want Daniel to run it for me. That does not mean the whole experience was not exceptionally harsh and ruthless. It was raw then but now I understand he had the best interests of the club in mind.

“Kane has looked to progress his career for some time and City are willing to spend serious money. With me, their view was that they’d used me and now I was out.

“With Kane, it is the opposite — they are not done with him — but the tough conversations will be similar. A lot of people don’t see both sides of things. They are always very quick to blame the player.

“A lot has been made of the gentleman’s agreement, and although you hope those are honoured in everybody’s best interests, we have to be honest and appreciate that there is just too much money at stake for any of that in the modern world.”

Not sure why we were so desperate to get rid of him, to be honest.
Our strikeforce was a bit of a mess for that whole campaign, largely dug out by Adebayor.
He was on loan and we sold Pavlyuchenko and Crouch to bring in him and Saha over two windows.

Lamela with a 93rd minute winner for Sevilla.

Someone’s loving their new life in Spain!

La Liga's clearly a piece of piss.
They needed a new Argentinian winger to carry the league and he's stepped up.

    Really happy for him.

Like, if Ndombele left and scored 3 in his first 2 elsewhere, I wouldn't give a toss.

    But Lamela deserves it.

The only reason Lamela left was because they insisted on him joining as part of the sale of Gil to us. If they had wanted Sissoko, Winks or Ndombele they'd have gone and Lamela would not be top of the lest to get out.

If Ndombele goes it's cos we accepted a huge loss cos we are desperate to ditch him. One of the worst Transfers in our history.
And I remember Rasiak, Zamora, Andy Grey and Gilberto ffs
