Yeah there were a handful of good players we let go, but no individual stood out as worthy of keeping the shirt.

I asked man city fans on Twitter why a billionaire from the uae woke up one day and spines 1.5billion on their club and I got a lot of unpleasant abuse. No one could answer the question. I doubt they’d never asked themselves as they are dazzled with football glory.

I do wonder how much quality is there once they get a bit tired and the novelty wears off but Edwards I think is one of genuine quality.
He looks like our best defender to me and set up a lovely move on the right. Burgess loves a hoof and never finds his target.
You have to appreciate how limited and workaday our team has become. We literally had no one with any pace or creativity. We ground results out playing hoof ball. This is the best group of players with the most progressive style we’ve seen in 10 years. It might not be a set of a listers but there’s some proven quality. Don’t forget coulson and the championship players are playing in the 8th best league in European football so first team chances are not easy to get. But they are of a standard to be even in and around those clubs getting contracts to play for them…
Come off it. It's maybe the best side we've had for three years. It's nowhere near the side that made the play offs under McCarthy.
