They certainly seem to think so, not 'allegedly' or 'reportedly' but stating facts. If it is true we shouldn't have to wait long.
Really pleased we’re getting a LB. Dan did a good job filling in on Saturday but got rinsed a couple of times especially in the first half (to be expected given he’s young and not a defender). LB has been our most crucial signing required so onto a RB, Striker & CB next please.
Well done to the club for holding their nerve ... ... and shutting up those claiming we're skint, inactive and failing to sign players. We could've easily signed a dozen left backs, before now, but we held out for a PL player and won a difficult game in the meantime. "The left-footed teenager was hailed as a rising star with “a lot of quality” by Jose Mourinho when he took over as manager in November 2019." Get him on the bus for the Potteries
Someone reckons Levy is holding out for more money but it’s never been reported anywhere that there’s an issue. Exciting signing.
Mourinho was a huge fan of his, he’d have not been allowed to be sold if he was manager I don’t think.
Can’t blame people for wanting to see the evidence after our recent experiences but fingers crossed this is the start of the evidence
Care to name these full backs that you would have signed, just so we know what your quality threshold is? if there are players that we could have signed that we "don't know about", ergo we couldn't sign them, "known unknowns" I think is the phrase. And I don't think anyone has said we will "def get them before deadline" about any player.
Not at all mate, it's normal, but KLD spelled things out and took the piss out of Donald. He's already spent on the infrastructure and the likes of Evans and Pritchard will have cost us .... ... their signing on fees, agents % and wages won't come cheap.
Never heard it I’m not a connoisseur mind, I just buy whatever single malt is on offer I drink it neat though
This is the best snippet on this thread. Not that I have a clue how KLD achieves that, but where there is a will there's a way and if he or his advisors don't know, not many will
If it's true that the Cirkin deal is nearly done, then I'm glad that we've held out for quality rather than a bog standard league 1 player. If we're shopping in the Premier League youth market especially for players that are really rated at their club, then it'll take time to get them in but you know they'll be good players. Can't wait to see what the team looks like come the start of September
Yep,and if we sign this lad from Spurs,it'll be more evidence that,at long last,we've finally got recruitment management people who know what they're doing.
