Sorry but I am not as worldly as you, and try to keep post about City somewhat parochial. Then again, a full list of all football league clubs with similar membership schemes that are now coming back into the post-lockdown real world would be an excellent aid to compare ours against. I thank you in advance for your tremendous efforts in securing and posting this information.

My rousing speech at least had a point , really don’t get yours
I agree with many about the marketing being a poor or unhelpful to some , but it’s a mix of capitalising wherever they can . Ironically it’s those die hard s who want it to remain simple and cheap . ,The club are just using web purchases which is how the world revolves now to give as many purchase options as possible , it’s shut all the shops down , not much grunting about that. I like the idea of turning up with a debit card but recognise as a casual or non regular I may have to pay a bit more . Again if I’m that casual do you really think I would quibble over maybe £10 more than the regular guy . That’s my point . By the way whoosh says **** all to me it means it says nowt without substance

Sunderland got 37,000 for a League 1 game on Saturday. Of course no one has a membership scheme like ours though some have schemes where you can pay over 12 months by direct debit.

People being parochial and insular is what has held Hull back for years.

It’s prob due an incident that happened before the internet was invented….phone msg dating….over 20 years ago

she sounded cute, was interesting….arranged to meet her for a blind date in a popular Hull town centre bar….

She was 6ft 2 without heels, but with heels on she was 6ft 6+. The bouncers asked if she wanted a job working with them lol

I didn’t ask for a second date!

Just taken a look at the OWS to see the various options.
Some of the links don't work; I'm guessing that's because certain options (like the 12 / 6 match cards) haven't yet gone live.
TBF, once you've fathomed it all out, there are plenty of options, and, with the discounts that are available, some reasonable prices (aside from the very reasonable ST's/ Memberships) <EDIT: assuming the 6/12 bundle options are available again for this season - not currently available>.
However:
- whatever happened to "£20 is plenty". I think that was about right. Not just a nice ring to it, but a sensible price to watch 'the people's game' (yeah, right).
- it's easy to see that it could be more than a tad overwhelming or too much hassle for some people
- I still think that it's far more complicated than it needs to be. We all know 'it's the way of the world', but a key aim of business like this should be to make it as easy as possible for 'customers' to buy.
There are lots of people who might attend, but don't want a ST and certainly don't want complicated hassle and hoops to jump through. I know you can just rock up (so long as you do it in really good time!) and buy a ticket, but, a) that option isn't front and centre, and b) it is expensive, as you don't then get the discounts.
Why not just have ST/memberships and then just have sensibly priced match day tickets. That's it.
There could still then be special offers now and then, including offering cheap or free tickets to Hull & ER schools on occasions?
I do understand that part of the current pricing set up is there so that clubs can rip off away support, but firstly that's not right and secondly some home fans / potential home attendees suffer as a consequence.
I know many clubs will be doing the same / similar to us, but that doesn't make it right.
Just make it as simple, and reasonably priced, as possible to get as many as possible into the ground as you can. As near to the 'good old days' where you could either buy a ST to enjoy the best prices, or else buy a ticket for a game when you are able to attend or fancy attending and bringing others with you. If we were sold out every game it MIGHT be a different matter (there would be an argument for basic supply & demand economics to unfortunately then kick in). That builds support and it also maximises the additional match day revenue.

It's obvious from being on any City message board (here or Facebook etc), that barely anyone is aware of these alternative options, so just think '£33, **** that'.

Just make match day tickets £25 and you wouldn't have to bother with the match day bundles most people aren't even are of and we'd get more bodies in.

Well if loyalty to the Club is to be ignored and we're going for a 'one size fits all' approach I'd like to pay the same price as you...£15.75 per game seems reasonable.

I thought I'd have to work on Saturday so never got a ticket. Late on Friday I found out I was now free and realised it was pay on the day. Rang my mate and asked if he fancied it. "How much is it?" "Only £24." "Yeah, sounds good." Tapped my card at the window next to the turnstile and that was that. Make it hassle free, make it reasonably priced and people will go. No one wants to do a maths test buried on a barely working website to save about £5.
