Not overly excited having read a bit about him yesterday, but have only seen him play once myself so reserving judgement on him.

Need a striker and sounds like he has been our number one this summer

Only thing is now Ings has gone, we supposedly wanted Armstrong as well as Ings, so does that mean that Broja is the Ings replacement in the squad? Guess it doesn’t really matter but just something I thought of

On Paper, We will have, Adams, Armstrong, Broja and Long. (Tella could play here too)
 
This thread should have been up long ago. Armstrong has been our no.1 target all summer and we had made a bid long before we sold Ings.

Let's hope we get this one over the line!

I think Walcott, Tella and probably Redmond get in before Long

I still think Long leaves on loan on deadline day so the club that takes him minimises the wage contribution
 
Looks as though Armstrong is equally comfortable shooting with either foot, which is always a bonus when we see so many opportunities lost as players try to get the ball onto their favoured foot.
Decent penalty taker too.
Just had to google Broja. Three goals in pre-season, so good potential and only 19.

Seems to have been our number 1 target and our recent recruitment seems a long way from what is was a few years ago

I just hope the people complaining or questioning it are not the same as those complaining when this seemed to have fallen through . Not saying they are and could easily be getting my Saints sights mixed up again

Adams is a big one for being one footed

It would be a good start if we actually started doing quick counter attacks. People can pronounce the names however they like for all I care if it actually becomes a relevant “problem” !

Good point, we used to be so exciting back in the day when we first got to the EPL with our quick counters.

Would love to see more of that.
